The Week That Was April 7th - April 13th - 2019

Sunday 04/07

Well... lets see. How did Sunday start? Oh yeah... The treadmill. This week I won't bore the blog with a bunch of exercise stuff like last week.

I kid. I will post what I want. I leveled up on the Bowflex. Over 400 calories twice a day last week. Can I do the same this week? I dunno. I am pretty wore out. Gotta keep pushin.

Found these in the front... Spring is... present!!

Went to the grocery today. Yay. Lynnea seems excited.

Little else as far as chores and stuff today. Some laundry. Then the Reds...

Now an instant classic...

You go Puig!!!

Fight aside they lost again. They have started the season 1 and 8. Repeat that. 1. And. 8. Sigh...

Not much else on this warm and damp Sunday. Oh and I let the soreness of my legs and some laziness allow me to not put the Scott's Step One down. Soon... very soon.

Onto Monday...

Monday 04/08

Hit 420 on the treadmill. Hence you are seeing this. Hee hee.

Perhaps I need to get my head straight early this Monday.... feeling sluggish so far. Sigh...

I feel better... hee hee.

And now back to reality [political rant warning].

Fucking separating families is fucking EVIL. Period. If you disagree you have no heart. What the United States government is doing right now is fucked. All across the board. The GOP is an evil, racist party that supports a dictator wannabe. If you are a GOP MAGAt, please kindly shove your own fist up your own ass.

Loser is right!!! Racists are losers.

End political rant...

Getting some... a little... book work done. On Visual Soundtracks. Slow coming on this due to some formatting issues and the print on demand printer. I'll get it released hopefully soon. How about a lil taste of the Off He Goes - Pearl Jam section.

Oh and I updated my weekly listening guide:

Mellow Monday - Classic Rock
'Tallica Tuesday - Metallica and Metallica like shiz
Wacky Wednesday - Whatever the dial lands on
New Music Thursday - New Rock / Alt Rock/ Indie
Playlist Friday - Pick a playlist and jam

Saw this in the news. He obviously did not watch it.

No Redlegs tonight so no loss.

Pretty uneventful Monday. Mood was blah. The lawn is picking at me with its weeds. Gotta get on that shiz.

Hangover was on. First one. It still gets some laughs around here... with these tiny nuts!!

Onto Tuesday...

Tuesday 04/09

Day starts like this at 5 AM...

And more of that until lunch... which we left and picked up the 'Firecracker'. Congrats and welcome to the Jeep Club 'Nea!!

[Political Rant Warning]

Fuck this traitor. Here he is stumping for the other traitor and lying to the American people. Seriously... fuck this guy!

Over their dead bodies will we see the Muller report. I cannot wait till they are all gone. [end rant]

Today's playlist is 'Tallica Tuesday. First I went with Spotify's Metallica radio. Was okay for a bit but then started getting repeats... and then it just ended. Like I hit the end of the playlist. These services really suck at creating artist "Radio Stations". So... I moved to Google Play Music in the afternoon. Hells yeah!! Much more diverse so far. Next week I know what route I am going.

And the Tuesday evening... exercise time for 'Nea. Moving so fast she blurryface.

And then the fucking Redlegs!!! What's this winning stuff?!?!?

And then the home runs!!!

And another...

And another...

And another...

Lot's 'o home runs leads to a WIN!!

Onto Wednesday...

Wednesday 04/10

Back to the taxman today... bummer.

Today's play list... Wacky Wednesday...  going with '80s Alternative.

[UPDATE 10:42 AM] So far the playlist is okay. Lots of stuff I don't know. I guess I was into metal or just pop back in the '80s. Hearing U2, Inxs, Devo... stuff like that. [UPDATE 12:23 PM] Uggghhh... Erasure. Throwing up a little.

[UPDATE 12:31 PM] FAITH NO MORE on the channel!! We Care Alot!

[UPDATE 3:29 PM] Pet Shop Boys - What Have I Done!! -- Love this song.

[Political Rant Warning]

Onto the afternoon Redlegs game... wish we could go.

[UPDATE 2:35 PM] --- The are winning 4-0!!! Could we start a winning streak here??

[UPDATE 4:27 PM] --- Reds win!! Again!!

Late day work stress trying to invade. Brad is trying to deflect away from Brad with pleasant thoughts.

Crazy weather. Over 80° here and look at the TV from Minnesota...

So nice out we did up some grilling. Split chicken breasts... brine and rubbed with grilled onions, asparagus and shrooms. YUM!!

onto Friday...

Friday 04/12

Today started off sluggish for myself. Storms and wind came through at some point prior to waking up at 4:30 AM. I discovered that the wind flipped our recycling bins over. Cans and paper and cardboard everywhere.

[POLITICAL RANT WARNING]

While I was treadmilling today I listened to the Last Word from MSNBC. This was brought to my attention:

Mad props to this Freshman Congress person named Katie Porter. She schools a million... perhaps billionaire JP Morgan CEO. Fucking A Katie!!

Oh yeah... while I am shooting politics here today... we mailed out the tax payments today so billionaires much like the JP Morgan guy can have more money in his pocket via tax breaks. Most $$$ I have ever paid out for something like that. Sigh... wish it were going to something good.

[END POLITICAL RANT]

Today's rocking out tunage - Playlist Friday. I pick a playlist I already made and have at it. Rock on Wayne... err I mean Chris!

Um... onto something different.

Should I put this on the weekly blog or by itself???

Okay... By itself... here's a screen grab though!!!

From Star Wars IX: The Rise of Skywalker

Looks bad ass! Is that Palp at the end?!?!?

Doesn't matter what is happening today in the news... STAR WARS!!

Quiet evening... leftover Pennstation. Exercise and a lil of this...

Onto Saturday...

Saturday 04/13

Even though its the weekend... this is AM by the way...

...and back to bed for some more ZZZ's

After some more exercising... Smoothie prep. Got Flax seed?

Then some hot lawn action. First mow of the year!

My afternoon view... Jeep Jeep.

Onto some grubbing and beverages at Rivertown!

Cookies. Yes please...

Ate too many... Finally some Redlegs in Mexico action. Here is a Winker homer.

The Redlegs won their 4th in a row!!!

Off to bed and onto Sunday...
